I don't know anything...yet. BUT, I will be there if and when it happens. I am working on the Jacksonville show now. No real reason why I couldn't get there. Just gotta work out tickets, airfare, that stuph.

I'm really hoping he comes to Nashville this year... kinda suprised me last year since he released a (more or less) country cd.

I'm hoping for tickets at the place that he went to in 2003, since thats like 5 mins away from my aunt/uncles house :D:D

Whew I'm glad somebody else started this thread! Yeah, as I've posted ad nauseum, it makes absolutely NO sense to do a country album and not do Nashville, if only to have the guys and girls that did the songs with him handy in their home town. Go figure these managing teams and entertainers. Possibly they don't think like we do. 8)

They're probably only thinking about money... but then again, wouldn't a Nashville show (a huge one at the Colliseum maybe?) bring in a ton of it? Not only for Buffett and his crew, but for the city of Nashville in general (hotel, restaurants, etc, i forget what this is called, it was in the paper one day, something like indirect revenue or something)

Member of the "Please come to Nashville" fan club here.

Yeah, it really blew me away that he didn't swing by Nashville last year. All his concerts here are PACKED. I mean from stage to the very back of Starwood. Love to see Jimbo in twang town.

Nashville would have a ton of it if he played at the Colliseum. Its basically (From what I remember) money put in to the local econony in indirect way (not DIRECTLY associated with the event), for example: hotels, restaurants, other attractions are indirect, ticket sales would be direct)
LET'S ALL GO TO NASHVILLE!!!!!! (and see Jimmy too, plz!)
Oh yeah, how about a Margaritaville Nashville? Or maybe a CIP in Nashvegas? Sounds good to me!

Stick around where...what? :o HERE? Of course, I've been on here since 2000, I think, before I even went to a show in Nashvegas. Hey, I'M willing to travel, but the hubby and the people I go with are, let's say, WUSSIES and don't want to travel more than 4-5 hours. So I may have to go by myself someday. I know I won't have any problems finding/making friends! 8)  shhhhhh, don't tell the hubby. And GrannaC and BobRoberts and Conkytonk need to check in here too! And I have no fear whatsoever that Desdamona won't make it up here for the concert! I also have two extra bedrooms....does that sweeten the Nashville deal, Jimmy/Bubba/Jane'sman?

Okay Nashvegans... Starwood or the Colliseum? Which would be more awesome for a Jimmy concert?

Well, I don't think that there's tailgating at EITHER venue. The Coliseum doesn't have a 'parking lot', does it? Another thought: the CMA Country music Festival is at the Coliseum on June 9-12....hmmm.... . Nah, no way Jimmy would go there, it's already a busy, packed event.
