Does anyone know if there is a DVD or Video with all (what few there are) of Jimmy's music videos?

I'd love to have 'Tales from Margaritavision" and " Live by the Bay"
on DVD! Maybe someday.

Is there a Hawaii show DVD?

Post by Mango Picker »

I thought I heard something about the Hawaii show going onto DVD.

But can't find it.

Was I mistaken?

Anyone ever copy a video of Jimmy's off of his CDs? :pirate:

New West Records has just starting releasing old uncut episodes of Austin City Limits on DVD and CD. I'm hoping Buffett's two appearances make the roster.

Remember, like I said in other threads, you can write a letter to HK Managment and tell them that you want these two features on DVD.

I agree Jimmy is a smart business man, but not with this situation. It is indeed easy and inexpensive to transfer them DVD, so it's almost a cash-in.

Haven't seen anything other than the Millenium show....

To do a Buffett show justice on video, IMHO, you have to have a lot of cameras rolling.
It's not enought to show him hangin' out onstage.
There has to be lots of cutaways to the audience, Mac, Reeferettes, dancers, Peter, Michael.
All the views that make BEING THERE such a unique experience!

...and it would help if the cameramen are more sober than myself 8)
that way, I'll be able to CLEARLY SEE the show that I was ...er.. just at :o
$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!

Yes he is, which is why it must be obvious that he is waiting for a time releasing it will make the most money.

Well, there's no time like the present, IMO at least. I have no idea what other huge moment yet to come that he would be waiting for. I honestly don't think that the thaught of reissuing the videos on DVD (or CD reissues, which are also years overdue) has even crossed his mind.

That little logo in the bottom corner of Live By The Bay, has a lot to do with it. You can't release what you don't own.
Look I'm a little slow today, I just switched to Sanka, so have a heart.

Yes, yes, I know that. But MCA/Universal is a company that does DVDs like everyone else, and if they were talked into it in their language ($$) by Jimmy and HK (the only people that they would listen to if anyone, they better since Jimmy's the one who gave birth to the products), it could happen. Otherwise, these programs will rot on VHS.
