My guess is that some kind of announcement will come on Monday, March 14.

My guess since the Wrigley shows are pretty much approved and are scheduled for Labor Day weekend that its very likely that Alpine will be the Saturday after Wrigley since he will already be in the area. I would look for Indy/Cincinnati dates Tuesday and Thursday between Wrigley and Alpine.

Just my 2 cents.

Darlin'!?!?! Where ya been? Not 7/30... we found that out a while ago from Brian, the Alpine security dude... Ozzfest is scheduled for the 30th at Alpine. Otherwise, there is not a date scheduled for Buffett.

"Just" heard? What's the source? Because the most recent rumor is Ozzfest has that date locked up at Alpine.

I know how frustrating it is to not know the date and I know how frustrating it is to hear everyone else frustrated about not knowing the date...

At our PH club meeting last night, a very valid point struck me.... waiting so long isn't just a personal "need to know" kind of thing....There are many clubs that are trying to book golf outings, other charity events, etc. and they don't want to pick a date that will be the concert....by waiting, they may miss out on a date for a charity event....and selecting a charity date that happens to be the same as a concert date would be a disaster since so many of these club members do so many charities throughout the year that it would be a darn shame to miss the one concert they get to in a year because they have to run a golf outing......

I hope he's B.S.ing me but my buddy said he talked to the station manager from the local clear channel station here in Milwaukee, FM 106,97.3,etc and Kerry told him that Buffett is not coming to Alpine Valley this year? This makes me very sad. Can anyone confirm this at all? Sorry to bumb us out, hope its not true. Thanks, Ross

Ross- no, no one can confirm it... nor deny it. I think at most, we can confirm our optimism, but otherwise, there is no definitive word either way.
