I don't mind anyone questioning Brian's authority, but I think if you phrased it differently it wouldn't have sounded so insulting to us regulars. Even at that, with continuing class and dignity, Brian takes the high road and plays along!
But as everyone else said wildcat - not that we ever doubted him last year - but
many of us had the pleasure of meeting him, and he had a BuffettNews nametag along with his ophicial Alpine badge hanging from his BuffettNews lanyard. He also successfully gave BuffettNews nametags and
lanyards to Jimmy's security team, as have been seen in person and in pix at many shows following last year's stop at Alpine. Brian is the real deal, and a heck of a guy too!
Hey Brian - can I bring my Brownies Troops in for that tour sometime? Do you have Jesse McCartney or Hilary Duff scheduled yet?

Pooj, Tiki retired as lanyard lady after doing a fine job last year. If you want some lanyards, PM me and we can talk.

And big hat carmen is doing a fine job this year, and maybe considering retirement herself!

Seriously - make sure to properly thank her when you see her at Alpine this summer, and tell her how nice the new gray hairs look!

(a side affect of being lanyard lady!)
And while you're at it, throw 7lords some props too - if the BN nametags cause gray hair, he hides it with the short 'do!

Don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but have we heard anything new in the last couple days if July 30 is indeed the date for Alpine? I know the Indy and Cinci shows are pretty much confirmed, and the Wrigley deal is all but confirmed, just wondering if there have been any new developments. CaptainP? Brian? DINO? Anyone?

Honestly, this is getting ridiculous. We're pushing April here. A man's gotta plan for these things.

I know all of our speculation has been for July 30th, but there are no rumors around that time. I was wondering what everyone thinks about JB playing alpine the end of august, around the same time as indy and cincy... I know, we should all know within the next week, I have been waiting for weeks now, someone STOP THE INSANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know
I will.
I thought once the Wrigley Field dates were confirmed all the others would be announced. Places like Cincinnati, Toronto, Nissan, and others weren't even being mentioned when the Alpine rumors started.
WHAT'S THE HOLDUP WITH ALPINE?

I think Jimmy's management company just likes to watch us all gnaw our fingernails for 5 or 6 months, then announce the date about 24 hours before tickets go on sale to see if they can give us heart attacks.

Hi All:
Well, I know everyone has been waiting for a date for JB at Alpine. Guess what? Unfortunately, we still do not have one. If you take a look at our website, we don't have any shows officially confirmed and announced yet if you can believe it.
Like I have been saying, it's been a strange booking season for every tour. Once I get the word, I will let you know.
Regards,
Brian
p.s. I didn't see that Wildcat guy come back with any witty responses. Where did he go hide?

Wow, so it sounds like we don't even have reliable rumors anymore!! I just hope that tickets don't go on sale while I'm on the cruise- I can only imagine the connection speed from the boat....
