Do you still have these rebel elf tendencies or was it just a phase?

Yes and Yes!
I remember when Def Leppard was heavy metal.
And I loved Journey. And then Steve Perry's solo career.
"Oh Sherry...I'm in love...."
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'll see your pair of stretch pants and raise you with a pair of stirrup pants.

I wore corduroys in the very early 80's. Went to those stores that had bins on the walls full of levis and wranglers. You picked the length, waist and color. Then I'd put my comb in my back pocket to comb my feathers. I was cool.

I even had a cowboy phase thanks to Travolta and Urban Cowboy.
Also was into Twisted Sister for a while.
Heck, I was all over the place.

I still have about a dozen concert shirts with the standard black sleeves past the elbow.
And for the less wealthy of us we had the 'Le Tigre' (sp) shirts. "HOLD THAT TIGER, HOLD THAT TIGER"

Dee Snyder is dj'ing on a local radio station here. I couldn't believe it when I first heard his name. Can you imagine if I"m walking down the ocean city boardwalk and there he is carting his kids and the missus to go on the rides and get cotton candy.
I swore I saw Vin Diesel there last summer. Ooh Baby. Definitely bet he's a hard working guy.
