WHAM!
There was a time when I along with alot of the general public believed George Michael was straight. And he was hot too.

Sure! I think most people didn't bother to question it because he made pop music in the 80s... all the boys that did that looked gay!

Nah, he looks gay. When you see the old video where he's dancing around in tight short striped shorts, yep what were we thinking.

Yeah I know. Even my favorite Jersey boy who I forgot about. BonJovi, had a bit of a gay look to him in the 80's. I still think Wham was fun and that George Michael was cute.

I do but I'd never heard of them until I saw them headlining a show at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, GA back in the mid-90s. Kinda cowpunk before "alt.country" had really caught on. One of the principal members is now in another band whose name escapes me at the moment.

I went to see Living Soul play a parrotthead party in KZoo at the State theatre, do you know who was playing that same night at a little bar next door that was about 3000 seats smaller than the State????
Yes the White Stripes!!!
boy did they s*** then.....I laugh so hard when I think about how I was only watching them because the bar had cheaper beer than the State and we wanted to get drunk before going over there.

Learn something new every day. Allmusic.com also lists John Wesley Harding as a former member which I wasn't aware of either. According to their bio they went through a lot of personel changes so I have no idea if Jack White (credited as "Jack Gillis" at Allmusic) was with them at the time I saw them. The band I was referring is Blanche which includes Dan Miller (who was "Goober" in Goober in the Peas).

Once I saw the Stones and Journey and George Thorogood were warm up acts. Journey got booed off the stage.

It must have been Tattoo You, because the time was right but I could swear it was something else. I didn't think it was 82, I thought it was 80 or 81. Must have been mistaken. Had to be 82 and Tattoo You.
