Where's the Irvine Concert?

So, the greater Los Angeles area gets one Thursday concert at the Pond this year, and that's it? No Saturday and no Irvine Amphitheatre (the absolute best place on the west coast for partying)? Meanwhile, Vegas got three shows last year (2 Saturdays) and another Saturday night again this year? (Could the high price for Vegas tickets have anything to do with this?) I can only hope that they'll come back later in the year and do it right.

UH LALALALALA I have to travel to EVERY show I see...
Jimmy like never plays Boise... you get a show much better than
a lot of places.. be glad for what you have..

I'm not saying that there aren't places where it's less convenient than southern California to see Jimmy. I guess it's a matter of expectations. There are many areas of the country where you can't reasonably expect Jimmy to visit. But, when Jimmy says at an Irvine concert a few years ago that, even if he cuts back on touring in the future, he will always come back to Irvine, you expect that he'll do that.

right but the managment at Irvine may have a bit to do with this
ask. Red Rocks....... BTW Boise I do not expect him to be at
even if the Salt Lake, Seattle,Reno,Portland,Denver, airports
would see a large gathering of PHs on the days before and after..

Hmm, I wonder if there is a situation with the Irvine management. I'd assumed that the make-up concert a year ago was at the Pond in Anaheim because it was in January and needed to be indoors.

BTW, the real rub is that Vegas seems to be getting more and more shows, and there's no way to have a big parking lot party there (unless things have changed somehow from several years ago).

I have no idea if this will happen, but possilbly there will be a fall West Coast tour with dates in Vegas (again, that's fine with me), Irvine and San Diego...

because the MGM is willing to pay dearly to get jimmy to play there.....
