Cinderella NOBODY's FOOL

I'd like to say a word or two, about the women we all seem to know
They're all around us, they're everywhere
You meet them this place and then meet them there

Two Sides Of The Coin,,,, KISS

Well, the preacher and the teacher
Lord, they're a caution
They are the talk of the town
When the gossip gets to flyin'
And they ain't lyin'
When the sun goes fallin' down

you missed this line:

Human kindness is overflowing,
and I think it's gonna rain today

I think its gonna rain today by Bette Midler [smilie=hammerit.gif] or Cass Elliott

BTW I think Joe Cocker may have covered it too

Two weeks later this detective shows up
Tells me that company's pressin' charges
One speedy trial later they locked me up
On twenty-four separate counts of arson

OK here are
different lyrics

I remember working on a rooftop

Now I work two hours a night
It feels a lot more like play

that would be the Cigar Song~Brad Paisley

Just off of the beaten path
A little dot on a state road map
That's where I was born and where I'll die
Things move at a slower pace
Nobody's in the rat race
And these days that's a special way of life

Down Home by Alabama

Thirty days, Lord, and thirty nights
I'm coming home on an airplane flight
Mama waiting at the ticket line
Tell me son, why do you stand there cryin'?

one of my favorites that my husband's band would play...
Lynyrd Skynyrd~Needle and the Spoon

There are windows on the water
Lighting up the silver strand
Shining on the sea
Shining on the sea

CSN and sometimes Y Might as well have a good time

Memories and drinks don't mix too well.
Jukebox records don't play those wedding bells.
Lookin' at the world through the bottom of a glass,
All I see is a man who's fading fast.

haggard, that is. misery and gin . . . :D

You get a line, I'll get a pole

Five-card poker on a Saturday night
Church on Sunday morning
