Calalou CD?

I was fishing around in one of my local used music stores
the other day and ran across this CD-

"Calalou" © 1999 Margaritaville Records
Management is also per HK Management

Songlist:
1) Kinja (live)
2) Cheeseburger in Paradise
3) Stories from My Favorite Books (live)
4) Island Fever
5) Cairo (live)
6) Come Monday

I had never heard of this CD, and was anxious to add it to
my collection. But I no nothing of this CD, does anybody
have any info?

I believe it was made specially for Best Buy stores.

A promo cd released only at Best Buy store.
Printed in limited quantity
Only 5 songs and one spoken word track.
6 tracks total.
Promo for the Dont stop the Carnival cd

WOrth picking up for the song "Cairo" if you don't have the Club Trini CD.

Actually, (and I might be wrong), I think it was more of a promo for the show, not for the CD.

Actually, (and I might be wrong), I think it was more of a promo for the show, not for the CD.

I was looking for my copy to see what the date is...can't find it.
Maybe Ryan has it...

Thanks for the input, I didn't know anything about this CD.

I already have most all Jimmy's CD's including Late Night Live,
I just had never seen this particular CD. Nice addition to my
collection though.

Calalou was definately was released after DSTC .... I remember picking up both on the day they were released ..... and wondering why the Calalou release with such an odd variety (and only a few) of previously released songs.

How much did they want for this? I've been trying to get it but e-bay wants $15 and , like you, I'm thinking IO'll find it somday at a used record store. It's a mission!

I just grabbed mine. I remember buying it at Best Buy, but I don't remember how much it was or when. I only knew about it because of the sale flyer in the paper that weekend.

I believe it was to promote DSTC like was said above. It was marketed by Island Def Jam records.

$3.99 and it was never opened!
Honestly, the used stores are where I buy the majority of my
music. Eventually, I always find what I'm looking for, and at
prices from $.99 to $6.99 I always find something to buy.
