Buffett and Mac McAnally on Nanci Griffith's new album 2/1

Nanci Griffith's new album Hearts in Mind releases on 2/1/05 with a song called I love This town with Jimmy Buffett and a song called Rise to the Occasion with Mac McAnally. The album has been out in the UK since October, but it is finally coming to the US.

Wow! These are two really great songs! Yes, I stole them online ~ but will be buying the CD when it comes out. Jimmy just sings background mostly, while Mac is more of a prominant voice on his track. Still good though. Jimmy and Nancy's voices blend for a really unique sound.

I was in my car two weeks ago and happend to turn on the "folk" channel of Sirius Satelitte radio. I heard the song "I love this town" and immediately thought it was Jimmy in the background lyrics..

Cool song by the way !!

I brushed it off thinking it must have been someone that sounded like him... Glad to see that my "buffett" senses were right !!
