Buffett plays at KW Margaritaville
Jimmy performed a special show last night celebating the 20th Anniversary for the Margaritaville in Key West. During the show Jimmy said, "You wont here this song on a Kenny Chesney CD, boy that guy sounds like me huh?"
Set List:
My Head hurts, My feet stink
Girl gone crazy oin Caroline street
Havana Daydreaming
Piece of Work
Tin Cup Chalice
Margaritaville
You can't always get what you want
He then came back on stage later in the night and performed "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Volcano" with the jazz band on stage.

Was he totally sh+t faced like the last time he played there?Ilph wrote:He then came back on stage later in the night and performed "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Volcano" with the jazz band on stage. The arrangements of these two were different than usual and really cool to hear. Oh yeah, and Jimmy took his shirt off too.

why would it take any? At this point, Jimmy can still buy and sell a guy like Chesney 3-5 times over; and I don't think Chesney will make it past the 15 year mark on the national stage before heading to Bramson to enjoy the fleshpots of central Missouri between shows.mandegi wrote:i bet he was sh*t faced because he was dissing kenny which took some balls, i wonder if he has a gut?

I've loved Jimmy's music for many years, but also love Kenny's. I don't compare the two. For all the similarities people look for in musicians, I find it best to just judge them on their own work. Like it, or don't like it.RinglingRingling wrote:why would it take any? And IMHO, Jimmy's comments didn't sound like he was ticked off; I think was just joking given that Kenny's cd was just released and is in the news.
I don't think we'll ever see anyone quite like Jimmy
