Jimmy for GOVERNOR???

Post by Jimmy4pres »

Here is a site that I found:

http://www.buffett2006.com

There are official forms, oath, bumper stickers, and even a yard sign.

Seems like a fun dream! Jimmy for President sounds better!

Jimmy for pres may sound better, but then he'd have to wait two more years. He can do the gov thing in '06 and then pres in '08.

That web site is hilarious!! Great job.

While I love his music, I would never vote for him for any political office.

Understood, but I really don't think Jimmy would ever run, either. Just all in fun.

platform

Post by Jimmy4pres »

Obviously, this is a hypothetical thread. . .but. . .

what would Jimmy's platform be? A margarita in every hand?

Social security reform? Jimmy grows older, but not up!

Just imagine how many votes he would give if he offered free concerts!!!

Another burning question....would he do a fundraising concert for himself like he does all the other Democrats?? And "if" this was for real, I'd cross any party affiliation to keep Hilary out...even if it meant missing a couple of tours...

As the owner of Buffett 2006 please let me welcome your suggestions.

Bumper Stickers are being formed as of right now. The design is being drawn up by Mary Libbey of the Citrus Club. libbeydesign.com

There is going to be a total redesign of the site.

We are going to create an online petition. For all parrotheads to sign.

While I am sure many people will not be happy with Jimmy's Liberal politics... they can go shove it. I am not here to make them happy and they can kiss my ass.

True Parrotheads support the environment and the Liberal agenda.

Jimmy makes no apology for his politics and campaigns on his liberal agenda. If you don't like it.. TOUGH s***

"I'm a democrat, becasue I was born that way" Jimmy Buffett

The site is designed for fun and hopefully people will enjoy it for what it is...

T-shirts? prolly not... Bumper Stickers YES.. Make money off of this.. Absolutely not... I make enough money as a Publisher. If there is any profit, I will donate it to either Alzheimer's or Save the Manatee.

Florida hasn't exactly proven to be anything close to intelligent with their voting the last few years. If his name was really close to Rich White Bush on the ballot, the voters might accidently punch the wrong chad again. Maybe Jimmy could make a difference. Saving the Everglades and a state tax to fund education would be a nice platform.
