RIP Ossie

Ossie did a great job as John F. Kennedy in Bubba Ho Tep.

I watched an old western the other night with Ossie, Burt Reynolds and Clint Walker that was pretty good.

Yes he did

Elvis: Jack wait. Marilyn, how was she?
JFK: That... is classified. Top Secret! But between you and me... Wow!

------

Elvis: No offense, Jack, but President Kennedy was a white man.
JFK: They dyed me this color! That's how clever they are!

-----

JFK: Now this top line translates into, "Pharoah gobbles donkey goobers," and the bottom line, "Cleopatra does the nasty."
Elvis: Say what?
JFK: Well pretty much, that's the best I can translate it.

-----

Elvis: Now the two key words for tonight - "caution" and "flammable".
JFK: Also "watch your ass".

-----

JFK: Would you like a ding-dong
[Elvis looks towards JFK's crotch]
JFK: Oh, I don't mean *mine*! I mean a chocolate ding-dong.
[thoughtful]
JFK: Of course mine *would* be chocolate now that I've been dyed.

I bought this for one of my sons a couple of months ago. I had never heard of it. And til I read this thread I hadn't met one other person who had heard of it.

I loved him. The eulogy he gave for Malcolm X (real and in the movie) was amazing. He and Ruby Dee were quite the pair.
