As an NFL fan you can't seriously not know that the Superbowl was in Jacksonville, or that Jax is in Florida for that matter.

I mean Jacksoville's had an NFL team for a decade. Jacksonville is not as small as some think and it's actually the biggest city in America landwise. The fireworks leading up to the big game were possibly the biggest in U.S. history, even bigger than the millenium celebrations. Goes to show you that rednecks like to blow stuff up

.Every single fan interviewed on tv said they loved it and were quite suprised considering that some were trashing it beforehand.
There were lots of concerts and parties going on so there was always something to do, but then I'm sure it's that way at all Super Bowls.
I really enjoyed "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" from the Landing in downtown Jax. I wish that I would have went to it, it looked like a lot of fun. Overall, I think the city went all out and did a great job, much better than expected. The local networks were all over the scene for days leading up to the game and it looked like a blast.
Not to mention the best halftime show I've even seen took place in Jax!
Of course I'm right down the road from Jax so I'm biased.
