This woman is obviously has some issues that need to be resolved, but anyone who makes something like this up gets nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT from me.

Yes. They are currently figuring out how to charge her. At minimum, it is some kind of fraud and impersonation.dean_siu wrote:Anyone know if a specific crime was commited here? For doing something this assinine, I think this woman should be locked up for quite a long time.....but I'm afraid nothing will happen to her since she apparantly did not receive any financial gain from this.

I hope they throw the book at her with any charges that may be available.....than put her in a mental institution for as long as possible...this person has some serious problems!buffettbride wrote:Yes. Although definitely not something I enjoy seeing - I served, and would do so again, to give people the right to do it. Please remember that to most veterans (or at least those I served with), seeing images like this or a burning flag, or even anti-war demonstrations are not something we like or agree with, but it is why we serve(d).SchoolGirlHeart wrote:PHAW Webmistress wrote:http://www.nbc4.tv/news/4181394/detail.html![]()

I wish those people would sit and think for a few minutes about why they have the freedom to display something as disrespectful and disgusting as that.....
Yep, it's our sacrifices protect these people's First Amendment rights, but it damned sure doesn't mean I have to like it.Phan_of_Life wrote:Although definitely not something I enjoy seeing - I served, and would do so again, to give people the right to do it. I agree POL - which is why I voted on that site for supporting their "right" to do it but not agreeing with what they did. There are just some instances when peoples brains just do not engage. It's bad enough that my vietnam vet husband (and numerous other friends and family) came home to crap like that - I don't want my keet coming home to that!!Phan_of_Life wrote:Although definitely not something I enjoy seeing - I served, and would do so again, to give people the right to do it. I myself would be doing a little "midnight stroll" if that appeared in my town - especially if our B&G's were coming home to it. Let's hope that the communities out their take care of issues like this before they see it. Distasteful, but part of why I love America. A big salute to your Keet from me!PHAW Webmistress wrote:
