Heading down to Fort Lauderdale for the 2/19 show- 1st time in Fort Lauderdale- anyone have any suggestions for a good bar- and how is the tailgating there, anyway?

I'm heading out from Maine this Sat. a.m. Will be staying in Orlando with friends for the week but am driving down (solo) for the show on the 19th. Not real familiar with the area so am staying at the Holiday Inn where the local PHC is hosting a party.

All my previous concerts have been outdoors at Great Woods and Fenway last year. I'm anxious to see how the southern parrotheads party and what an indoor show is like.

Thanks to Wade I got my nametag in time for the show so am looking forward to meeting other BN'rs.

) got the room...Holiday Inn WOO HOO,,,just add alcohol and I'm good to go. MY first time and my parrot head boyfriends 20th concert, He'll love this Valentine's Gift...hope to see everyone there.

Thanks BAJA!!!! Looks like the Holiday Inn will be the place to go for a party- I'm just looking forward to temperatures above 70...... Gonna party on the train the whole ride down.....

It is cold as heck right now (high 58 brrrrr) but i have been keeping an eye on the old super doppler radar and should be about 71-75,,,can't wait!!! Looking forward to meeting everyone

Come on over to the Crown Plaza. They had the parrothead party there last year, this year at the Holiday Inn. But the Crown will still be rockin and is close to the venue.

So the Holiday Inn is the place to be huh? We are flying into Ft. Myers from Chicago on Weds but driving over to Lauderdale from Naples on Sat for the show..ditching the kids at my dad's house...ready for a great time!! This should be a good Buffett fix until I can do Alpine this summer!!! The only other indoor show I have done is Vegas...not sure this will compare to Vegas but it should be fun!!

I was going to ask for the best place to go beforehand but it has already been answered!!!

CANT WAIT..going through serious Buffett withdrawl....
