Buffett talked about in PLAYBOY
For all you single guys or guys like me who have an understanding wife, Kid Rock does the 20 questions in Playboy this month and he talks about how deverse music is and how one of the guys in Eminem's band said that "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" is his favorite song. I'm not a Kid Rock fan and I saw where he got arrested today but his views of today's music industry is right on in this interview.

I don't know why I know this, but Slash had a Five OClock Somewhere first - but I think it was an album title, not a song title. Just wondering, did it specifically say by AJ and JB? (I guess it's Playboy - if you do read the articles, you may not actually pay that much attention!)Tampico wrote:For all you single guys or guys like me who have an understanding wife, Kid Rock does the 20 questions in Playboy this month and he talks about how deverse music is and how one of the guys in Eminem's band said that "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" is his favorite song. You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say

I see your smiley face but I see no reason why Truckers talk should be off-limits here. Afterall this discussion is about Kid Rock mentioning Buffett and not Jimmy Buffett himself. Speaking of which, I could probably draw more parallels between Patterson, his dad, David Hood (a reknowned Muscle Shoals musician) and Buffett than I could between Buffett and Chesney. Not to mention, all of the Truckers (except for one) all hail from 'Bama. Then there's the fact that Trucker Jason Isbell is currently covering a Mac song in his solo shows but that's only the tip of the iceberg.pair8head wrote:Jahfin wrote:There's also an excellent interview with Patterson Hood from the Drive-By Truckers in the latest issue.
LMFAO, you just HAD to didn't you.
Anyway, I heard it was a good interview.

Thanks for pointing that out, I now notice it's actually about Kid Rock mentioning Buffett in Playboy. Btw, it's Jonathan, not Johnathan.ph4ever wrote:I thought the title of this thread was Buffett talked about in Playboy. If it's about Chesney it's in the wrong forum. Thanks for pointing that out Johnathan. Let's see if we can get a mod to move it to the apporporate place.
