The official put "Turning Around" in the setlist

Post by msu#1 »

Since the good folks of Margaritaville land know we're out there, (even though we knew Steve lurked) I thought I send out a blind request to put my favorite Buffett song back into the show.

f.y.i. My roomate and I must've watch my "Summer rental" dvd thirty times last year .

I would like to disagree with this opinion. I think Lighthouse is a great addition to the set list this year, almost as a second unofficial theme song of the book.

He does have a lighthouse on the stage. So maybe that is the reason he is playing it. It's a cool stage set.

Not I.
I'd prefer Livingston's Gone To Texas (with the lost verse)

No matter who is singing...... Jimmy or any other performer. Most 'fans' like to hear what is played on the radio. The 'serious' fan wants to hear what is on their albums. The smart performer plays a combination of both so everyone will be happy, and enjoy themselves at concerts. :)

While I like "Turning Around" I think it is a throwaway song at best along the lines of "Perrier Blues" or "I Don't Know (Spicoli's Theme)". There's nothing the matter with those songs but I'd much rather hear some album cuts from the "treasure chest" that haven't been played in years instead.
