Editing A RM Show

Recorded a nice feed of Ft. Lauderdale using Audio Hijack for Mac. I have Audacity for editing audio but I'm not sure what works best for cleaning up shows. The bands I normally trade are taper friendly so I'm used to professional quality recordings. The RM stream isn't quite the same but I think it could be cleaned up to be a decent show for trade. Any tips would be great. I'd be happy to vine it if I get a nice mixdown.

Which stream did you record. I have found that when I use Audio Hijack and the WMP stream I seem to get a high tinney sound that I haven't been able to remove.
You could try Bias SoundSoap available herehttp://

I have been using RadioLover
http://bitcartel.com/
for over a year recording the MP3 high stream with ok results. I don't know if there is any way to get the kind of quality most traders are looking for from a RM recording.
iRecordMusic, also available from Bitcartel looks promising for recording as well. I think that you can split the songs while recording with it.

I recorded the i-Tunes radio feed. It sounded a lot crisper compared to the three versions I tried from the direct website. The sound is very full, almost too havy on bass. I edited it as I listened and broke the songs into individual files. So, all I need are some basic editing tips. Using "Compression" seemed to help.....
