Hank Williams III has a good anti-Nashville song.
The name escapes me at the moment but I "think" it's Trashville.
But I'd be willing to bet he'd change places with some of them.

I see how it is, everyone has the right to express their opinions as long as they are in agreement with the majority. If not, then express it only once and be done. Whatever.

But, you should know that yesterday for example, I posted not only in the Chesney forum but in the Buffett forum, the off topic forum and a couple of times in the PH forum. I have been posting in all of those forums since my return here a couple of weeks ago. You should do your homework next time.
It's not because of differing opinions at all but more like the way you come accross and like to stir stuff up. Try some cooth.
Perhaps you're new to this whole internet chat thing, thus the negativity and childish posts like so many do when they first get into it.

LeDoux is great. I have several of his CD's and listen to them quite frequently.

Chris LeDoux is an AMAZING show! I've seen him 4 or 5 times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time.

There's plenty of songs that speak badly of Nashville. My personal favorite is Robbie Fulks' F*** This Town.

Three quick points here.

First, I have seen LeDoux two or three times and he is amazing live.

Second, I post on this site what I truly believe. Contrary to what some think, I never post just with the intent of getting people riled up though I guess at times it appears so.

Third, the anti KC website is in the works, but the very begining stages...don't steal my idea. Thanks.

Never thought I'd be reading about Chris Ledoux on Buffettnews. If you ever get a chance to see him... GO!!! The man had a liver transplant and still puts one an awesome show. In fact, Garth Brooks said that he used LeDoux's show as an example for his "high energy" shows.

Wait a minute...Garth made country music, had a high energy show, and mentioned LeDoux in "Much too Young to feel this damn old". Does anyone else think Garth was copying LeDoux and wanted to be a World Champion Bareback Rider? Talk about a hidden agenda.

An other great anti-Nashville song is "Murder on Music Row". Who better than AJ and George Strait singing about how Nashville has killed country music.

I wonder why AJ and GS were allowed to do that song. The industry could have stopped it and didn't. The powers that be could have prevented it from getting airplay, and didn't. I've always wondered about that.

I know a few years ago, Ricky Van Shelton had some pointed remarks about the state of country radio and was pretty much blackballed and hasn't done much since.

Guess it depends on who you are. I would hate to see GS and AJ blackballed though, along with Toby Keith they are three of the current country acts that I do like.

I think that on this board there are few people who have heard/seen
Chris don't like him very few. I have seen Him and the Western underground.. UH maybe 25 times.. a great time
and He has as much fun at a show as Jimmy....HMMMMM

Why does Chris put on a great show???? Maybe he likes it! :D :D
