OMG! Did he tell me to "get a life"?

I just watched Jimmy's Uncut 60 minutes on CMT. In it he is being interviewed and the man asks him a question and he's all like "they need to get a life" kind of thing about parrot heads. I was wondering, does that upset you all? I mean we spend all this money on his merchandise and stuff. Being "true" parrot heads and all should we ecspect better? Should I boycott his upcoming shows? I can't believe all you people who bought tickets are actually going to support this kind of behavior!

Seeing as how he said it so "tongue in cheek," I'll gladly continue to support him!

Oh come on now. Thousands of parrottheads dressed in tropical shirts, guys diving into their pickup truck beds filled with water, and countless corona-crazed fans...all for his music. He is flattered and was just joking when he said get a life.

I don't mind that he said it. What I mind are all my non-ph friends and family who see the interviews and come up to me and say "See, he thinks you all are losers"

Of course, that one line is the only thing they remember

Yeah, and how many times in the clips was Jimmy smiling, thanking and appreciating the fans, admiring the creativity, and saying how much fun he was having??? Don't take the one comment out of context. Heck, look at how much fun Steve Croft was having...Jimmy had him smiling almost non-stop...it's contagious.

Actually, I have considered a boycott myself as a protest to his not coming to Nashville. I have serious doubts about Nashville this year. And Cincinnat, while great tailgating, sucks as a venue!!!!

I say skip Cincy, play Nashville and let the Ohio PH make the drive this time.

Part of having a life is having some silliness that you do to let down your hair. Hitting a concert or two in full regallia falls into that area.
