Fan Club and Good Tickets?
Hey this Summer Im hoping to get some good seats to a Kenny show and was thinking of joining the fan club in order to be able to buy tickets through them. Does anyone know if this is the way to go? Is is easier to get good seats through them?
Thanks,
Matt

NO!
its a waste of money! i joined kennys fan club for the same reason and the ticket i would get from the fan club where sh!t. and a few times the site would be so slow during the time to log on for the presale that they would be sold out by the time you got through. i get better from ticketmaster.
that is just my opinion.

do you have any tips for getting good tickets to his shows? i live in upstate new york and plan on going to nashville to see his show he usually has there in the summer and want to have really good seats if im going to make the hike. is the best way just ticketmaster.com? or will ticketmaster outlets around here have them eventhough the concert is in tennessee?
thankks

ONCE AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BUT I THINK TICKETMASTER.COM IS THE BEST WAY TO GO. JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT THE FIRST PAIR YOU PULL UP IS NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE THE BEST PAIR. BUT SOMETIMES THEY WILL BE. I BOUGHT 3 PAIRS ONE TIME JUST BECAUSE EACH TIME I TRIED WOULD PULL A BETTER PAIR.snowed in wrote:thanks for the advice... ill avoid the fan club.

I have been thinking about doing the same for good seats. Pat Green is supposed to open for KC on the second half of the tour so I'm excited for this year's show.
As far as getting good tickets to ANY concert I have a couple of suggestions...
1) you mentioned living in NY and trying to get tickets for Nashville...that might work... I would suggest checking with ticketmaster and there policies a couple of years ago it was broken down by regions and you couldn't by across regions the day of on sales but maybe you could later on. Some regions you could buy across on the date of on sale.
2) I always love the actual outlet center...something about me likes waiting in line...drawing numbers and hangling with the people in line to buy your two or four seats. IF you do that take LOTS of friends with you so you have more chances at drawing better numbers.
3) TM online...well I did get 5th row buffett seats through the online site last year...be patient and hit that submit button right at 10' oc'clock ...whatever you do DON"T back out of it.
4) by phone... I've never done this because it's automated...
whatever system you are going to use check it out befoe the onsale and be familuar with it ahead of time.
Hope this helps...let us know if you join the fan club

ah...some one mentioned Pat Green.... I knew that his being on the KC tour will be a good thing. I am a HUGE Pat Green fan and I've got to shamelessly plug his newest single coming out to country radio on Monday--BABYDOLL-- off of the Lucky Ones CD.
And unless you are fortunate to have a seating chart of your venue and are in line for tickets early enough-- you will have to do the ticketmaster thing. I personally find that way harder than getting them in person at an TM outlet center.

I suggest you stay away from Nashville and go to the Buffalo show in August. HSBC is handled by tickets.com and every time I've gone to a show there I've received great seats by being online at the opening of ticket sales for that show, usually a saturday at 10am. Last year I got seats 8 rows up off the floor and one section back from the front of the stage, so I was basically 40 feet away and stage level. Let me know if you are going to Buffalo, maybe we can get some Buffettnews folks to meet up.
