Waiting for Summer Tour Dates

Post by phjim »

A rumor passed along to BN: A reliable source inside the Clear Channel Concerts organization says Buffett is scheduled to play at Citizens Bank Park (the new baseball stadium in Philly) on August 25, and 27, with tickets going on sale March 5.

We are still waiting for the official list of Summer Tour Dates to be announced.

The shows that are waiting for approval:
July 4th - Gillette Stadium - Foxboro Mass
September 2nd & 4th - Wrigley Field - Chicago IL

Others rumors:
July - Alpine Valley - WI
July - Verizon Wireless Music Ctr - Indianapolis

So I suppose this means that other than July 4th in Foxboro, JB's going to spend the entire month going back and forth between Alpine and Indy :o ...sounds good to me! :D :D

Would that replace or be in addition to Camden, NJ (usually also considered the Philly concert)?

password "beaches" works. Not sure if they will compare mailing address to season tic data base.

Presale was for Philadelphia Flyers season ticket holders as well, I do not have the link available because I am at work, but my brother has already purchased tickets on the presale at 10:00 this morning for the show on 8/27

Got my tickets this morning for the Philly Concert. August 27th I think it was. Anyway, they were pricey. Very Pricey. the service fee alone was $17.50. Anything lower level was above $80 per ticket. But hey, as a WINGS season ticket holder, I'll pay the price to skip the lines. I would assume that this will replace the Camden show. No sence in doing both.

Thank god for Buffettnews. I am not patient, but BN is like that frozen concoction that helps me hang on, hang on, hang on. Looks like Indy for us. It will be our first time there. Anybody know anything about the tailgating there? What is the venue? :wench:
