What's your TOP 10, MUST PLAY concert list ???
Reading around the threads a bit lately & seems like a lot of parrotheads are startin' to rock the proverbial boat on what should be "absolutely" expected at Jimmy's concerts these days.
Some want to delete Come Monday, WDWGDAS, Brown-eyed Girl (Morrison's tune..yeah, maybe) Cheeseburger in Paradise and more.
So just wondered what your "MUST PLAY Top 10" List is?
Here's mine...
1- Margaritaville
2- One Particular Harbor
3- SOASOAS
4- Fins
5- Volcano
6- CILCIA
7- Cheeseburger in Paradise...so it's not the most well crafted song ever-
its FUN, lots of FUN! We came to see Jimmy not Dylan.
8- Pencil Thin Mustache.
9- Pirate Looks at 40
10- WDWGDAS..
The remaining " WISH LIST"
Cowboy in the Jungle
Migration
Pascagoula Run
Cuban Crimes of Passion
Desperation Samba
Stars on the Water
Love and Luck
I Love the Now
Frenchman for the Night
Barometer Soup
Knees of My Heart
Captain & the Kid
Lovely Cruise
Havana Daydreamin
Holiday
5 O'clock Somewhere
Boat Drinks
(A good point was made in one of the threads... we may have tired of some of the Must Play tunes over the years but a lotof newbies are coming to experience this wonderful insanity for the first time and I don't think it's fair to change the formula toooo much. )
Top Ten anyone??

There's wind in our hair
And there's water in our shoes
It's been a lovely cruise.

Top Ten
Here are the 10 I expect to hear (in no particular order of importance)
1. Margaritaville
2. WDWGDAS
3. OPH
4. Volcano
5. Fins
6. SOASOAS
7. Pirate Looks At 40
8. Cheeseburger
9. CILCIA
10. Come Monday
While it is always great to hear Jimmy break out "non main stream" songs, I don't think a concert would be the same without these classic sing alongs!
1. Margaritaville
2. WDWGDAS
3. OPH
4. Volcano
5. Fins

Most of the new people I've met at concerts are so excited to be there, I really don't think they'd mind if he left off C.I.P., and preformed one of his rarer lesser played songs. That's not to say they don't have their preferences, but I think they'd be happy either way.
So here's MY 10 songs I expect to hear:
Volcano
Son of A Son of A Sailor
Changes In Latitudes/Attitudes
One Particular Harbor
Coconut Telegraph
Brown Eyed Girl
Gypsies In the Palace
Coast of Carolina
Margaritaville
A Pirate Looks At 40
Here are 10 more songs I wish I could hear live, but will be happy just to BE there:
Somewhere Over China
Island
Island Fever
Remittance Man
Beach House On the Moon
Flesh & Bone
Coastal Confessions
Nautical Wheelers
The Wino And I Know
Migration
If It All Falls Down/No Plane On Sunday

The Weather Is Here
Changes in Latitudes
Gypsies In The Palace
Nautical Wheelers --- I would love so much to hear this live.
A Pirate Looks At 40
One Particular Harbor
Come Monday
Fins...Kind of worn on the song, but I would say this song is expected. How do I get my fins up without some theme music?
and of coarse the other expected, if not required is Margaritaville. Its been said before and I will repeat it. It is our National Anthem.

If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane.
I think the songs Jimmy must play now have changed. It seems like there used to be about 12 songs we always expected to hear. Then Jimmy started playing Southern Cross so it was usually expected too. He usually played these:
1. Pencil Thin Mustache
2. Grapefruit Juicy Fruit
3. SOASOAS
4. Brown Eyed Girl
5. Margaritaville
6. Fins
7. Cheeseburger IN Pradise
8. Volcano
9. One Particular Harbour
10. A Pirate Looks At Forty
11. Come Monday
12 WDWGD
Now I think he feels like he has to play
It's Five O'Clock Somewhere
I think people expect
Hey Good Lookin also
and maybe some expect
License To Chill
Most newbies want to hear Trip Around The Sun.
He has started leaving out Pencil Thin Mustache and Grapefruit Juicy Fruit and Brown Eyed Girl and Southern Cross and only once SOASOAS.
I don't think he ever skips these 8.
Margaritaville
Fins
Cheeseburger IN Pradise
Volcano
One Particular Harbour
A Pirate Looks At Forty
Come Monday
WDWGD
Personally I know people will be disappointed if they don't hear some of the usual ones, but once Jimmy starts NOT playing them, maybe it will break the "I have to play these or get killed" setlist.
Maybe he thinks the whole concert experience will fall apart when thousands of disappointed concert goers leave when they don't hear that ONE PARTICULAR SONG.
I personally think he just must play One Particular Harbour, Margaritaville, Pirate Looks At Forty, Fins, and It's Five O'Clock Somewhere.

Jimmy's bread n butter: These are core setlist songs; a big part of what makes a Buffett concert a freakin' Buffett concert!
If Jimmy's singing live, I don't get tired of these
1 SOASOAS
2 OPH
3 Fins
4 CiP
5 Come Monday
6 Margaritaville
7 WDWGDAS
8 Volcano
9 CILCIA
10 Pirate
Treasure Chest: There are so many songs to choose from - the toughest question you can ask a long time parrothead is
"what's your favorite Buffett song?" Here's my feeble attempt at the dream set:
1 Barometer Soup
2 Peanut Butter Conspiracy
3 Manana
4 Floridays
5 Wino
6 Migration
7 Cowboy in the Jungle
8 Take Another Road
9 Wonder Why We Ever Go Home
10 Tonight I Just Need My Guitar
