I just looked at the ticket ads and the dates are for April

Jimh2112 - Yes, I did get conformation e-mail. But someone at work last night said they cross-referance real season tix holders by the cc billing company. (card #'s). I was just wondering if anyone was actually billed yet? :pirate:

That is not a foul proof way of checking. That would be assuming that Season ticket holdares only HAVE & USE ONE CREDIT Card. Not to mention other possible scenerios.... Spouces credit cards etc.

dont need to pay season tix bill by card

Post by jimh2112 »

Also, as a past 76ers season holder, one does not need to use a card to pay for the tix. checks and cash work fine. how they could possibly check all the purchases made in the presale to verify season status? plus, the philles holders are totally separate from the wings/phantom/Sixers/"Flyers". phillies tix are done by MLB. the 'comcast' teams handle their own. BUT, new era tix is part of comcast-spectacor.

Tickets but where are the seats...

Post by fruffy42 »

Just ordered tix but am unclear on where the seats are. It says section G on the tickets but there are two section G's.

The level is listed as F. Is that on the field or behind home plate?

Someone help?!!!

Okay.. here is the deal.. WHAT IS THE QUANTITY & WHEN DID YOU ORDER THEM?.. How Much is the face value. Most of the seats behind home plate in that section are "diamond club" seats. Great seats for The Phillies, TERRIBLE for Buffett.. you won't see a thing. if the tickets don;t say "DIA" on them anywhere , you might be in luck

well, you didn't answer all of my questions

quantity? purchased when? anyway, it looks as if you have good tickets but the $100 each is wrong.. the field tickets were well over $100

I have your answer....

Jimmy Buffett
Citizens Bank Park - (more detail on News Page)
August 25, 2005, August 27th also
On Sale March 5, 2005 - 10:00AM

Field: $128.00
Lower Level: $88.00
Upper Level: $48.00

SO IF YOU PAID $100 PER TICKET.... ($88.00 + $12.00 fee= $100) then you got the worst seats in the house.. Lower Lever Behind Home Plate.. you would have been better off paying for cheap seats along the 1st base or 3rd base line. Sorry to be the bearer of bad News

Section F

Post by sparky »

Hi,

I called New Era's Ticket office,

Your Section Field Section F, is in fact Field Seats, even though you did not pay 128.00, the field tickets to the right and left were less because they were not center stage. They said if they were the other Section F behind home plate, It would be Diamond or Dia... thanks

Sparky...you wouldn't happen to be from Philly, would you?

If so, you wouldn't happen to ride a Sportster, would you?

Level F is field

Post by jimh2112 »

Only sections C, D and E on the field are in the $128 range. The other fields are $86+charges.

FYI - My CC was charged for those (like I) were worried about the season holder status.

cheap seats?

Post by fruffy42 »

OK - the tickets say LEVEL F SECTION G. I am pretty sure if they would be behind homeplate they tix would say LEVEL 1.

The tix were $88 plus $12 service fee. My fault for being unclear. I think I am in the section to the extreme right of the stage, or when Jimmy looks stage left he'll se ME!

New Era is in this to MAKE MONEY. Why else would they charge $12.00 surcharge on each ticvket???? They will not "give" the money back. It would be a NIGHTMARE to cancel all the presale tickets & attempt to cross reference 6 major sports teams ticket holder databases (Flyers/Sixers/Phillies/Wings/Soul/Phantoms). They don't have access to that kind of information. That being said, This ship won't sail next year! They will have the Parrot Heads figured out by then. Remember, to New Era, $12 is $12.. they don't care who they get it from.

NOW, WHEN THE HECK IS MARGARITAVILLE.COM GONNA OFFICIALLY ANNOUCE THE SHOWS? They Philadelphia Enquirer had an article on uesday 3/1 to annouce the shows,, and WMMR Radio in Philly has been talking about the dates since last Friday. Why The delay? Is it because we are all "caught up in the internet, you think it's such a great asset??"

Phins Up & No Worries Phellow Parrot Heads.. This year we had a level playing field with the scalpers.. THEY WAY IT SHOULD BE!
