Unpopular songs you like.....

Post by pbans »

Do you love WDWGAS?
Do you love Hokey Pokey?
The "songs you don't want to hear" thread got me thinking.....what's the Buffett song that is generally unpopular among parrotheads that YOU like?

I'll confess to liking "Math Suks".....mostly because my 'keet gets such a kick out of it....and because....well, math does s**!

Next?

"Skip Wiley" is a song that I like alot that I find some of my PH friends don't especially care for.

Rest in peace cowboy, a job well done.

Personally: I love "Math Suks" :D

True Story:

Just started reading Hiaasen. Yesterday, I was at the beach listening to Barometer Soup and the song reminded me of a Hiassen story. Is Skip Wiley a character in a specific story?

I like PRE-YOU. A lot.

And I adore MERMAID IN THE NIGHT. Don't know if it's "popular" or not.

Oh no you're NOT, Michael.

A few others I like that I don't think I've ever heard live are:
Somewhere Over China
Lady I Can't Explain
Flesh & Bone
Why You Wanna Hurt My Heart
Cowboy In the Jungle
If I Could Just Get It On Paper
Treat Her Like A Lady
Coastal Confessions
The Wino And I Know
Migration
Nautical Wheelers
Tin Cup Chalice
If It All Falls Down
No Plane On Sunday
Nobody Speaks To the Captain No More
Floridays
When the Coast Is Clear
Bring Back the Magic

There are many more, but I think you get the idea.

California Promises IS a very beautiful song, E.T.P.
I don't think I've ever heard that one live either.

Also-is your avatar that of the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a?
Just wondering.

Indeed it is. Am getting ready for my move to Maui. Someday, I will. Might as well start dreaming early, huh? Found that image on a website that does handmade tiles. Think I'm going to order a phew!!!

I've never heard CP live, either.

Hawaii was my home for 10 years-Big Island and Oahu. I never lived on Maui, although I've been there many times. BEAUTIFUL place.
WHEN you go there, muster all the courage you can, throw caution to the wind, and take a drive on the Hana Highway.
(But be sure you make out a will first) j/k

I'm going back there for the concert in April. Will you be going too?
It THIS tempts you in any way, I have an extra ticket-dead center, about 18 rows back-it's yours if you want it
