Well, it's good to talk about these things beforehand. It's good to make sure everyone's on the same page going in. Not being Catholic, this seems kind of formal to me, is all.

Its funny at the end of the day when you get a couple that will comment about how they havent talked about anything that was covered during the day, and how they realize NOW that they have alot to still think/talk about.

They showed us a film about finances. It started out with a couple fighting because the husband just bought "this new stereo - it's called a CD player, and I got it on sale for only $800." Was a black dude, wearing a leisure suit and sporting an 18" afro. Nice to know they are so up to date...

You have your whole lives to talk and think....just concentrate on the basic, IMPORTANT things for now. Like, does her HAIR look okay? (The correct answer is always YES!).

Should they have updated to show a short fat kid that just spent xyz on a motorcycle or LaZBoy?

sorry...dont' mean to hijack. even if i had wanted to get married in the church, hubby never would have gone for the classes.

It's the classes you have to take to get married in the Catholic church.

Here's an idea... Do what we're doing. Next year, we're gonna get married in Key West on the beach. Pre Cana... Ha Ha Ha!!!! You poor bastid...
