Lobster Lovers?

Some of the freshest seafood I ever had was at a little diner in Costa Rica several years ago. We all ordered lobster and a few minutes later a fella in scuba gear appeared and come back a good bit later with his catch. Another hour or so later, we were eating fresh lobster. Sorta reminded me of "I Wish Lunch Would Last Forever" and actually ended up giving me a whole new appreciation of that song. Bottom feeder or not but damn that was some good eating.

Nearly the same thing happened when I first ate sushi. I was at a sushi bar in Kono Hawaii and as we were walking in there was a truck off loading tuna that I swear were still flopping.


I still haven't had sushi as good as that.

I've never had sushi - not alot of sushi joints in the BFE, PA. Not sure if I'd like it or not, but would like to give it a shot.

They sell it in my neighborhood grocery stores , but 10 miles off the shores of chemical-laiden Lake Michigan, north of Chicago isn't exactly beachfront!

I'm Frankly too askeered to touch the stuff!

I used to be freaked out by sushi, but after being coaxed by an attractive young woman, I gave it a try, and I was hooked! (actually by both )
You're right about freshness. If it's all wrapped up in some freezer at your local store.... I'd skip it!
