And does anyone know why the show is on a SUNDAY? :roll:

That line between Saturday night and Sunday morning is getting even thinner. Good thing the show isn't in Georgia; we can't buy alcohol on Sunday.

We are coming down from WNY, any ideas about clubs hosting preshow parties w/hotel and bus ride to the stadium? I'm sure there will be, guess we'll have to wait and see. Any info is much appreciated!

This won't be my first trip to Pittsburgh. I've been to Star Lake 3 of the last 4 years, I missed 2003 because I couldn't get the time off work.

I could introduce you to Tina but why would you want to meet my sister? She isn't famous, she's even older than I am :o and she's not a Buffett fan. :lol:

I haven't missed one yet, so we'll be there! It's going to be weird not being at the Starlake, but I still think it'll be great! There's a BUNCH (for lack of a better word) of my family/friends that liked the lawn at Starlake. We usually had seats and didn't see them after the tailgate, so it won't be that strange for us, but trying to get alot of people going and not sitting together for the actual concert.... I don't know, I know we had some extra tickets together and so and so had to make sure so and so were going so they were sitting w/ someone.... since the chances of getting 20 plus tickets together were slim. And as far as Saturday vs. Sunday....t's a SUMMER SUNDAY--who cares?

I agree...but I don't think many others are as lucky as we to have the summer off...hehehe :lol: :lol:

I posted the following in the "News" forum under the Pittsburgh thread, thought I'd share it here also:

"I'm not familiar with the downtown Pittsburgh area, but did an online check of all the hotels listed as "nearby" on the PNC Park website...

The cheapest:
Ramada Plaza Suites and Conference Center
One Bigelow Square
412-281-5800
$87 per night/$12 parking fee per night

The hotel said they were a 15 minute walk from PNC Park. MSN Maps lists the hotel as 0.8 miles from PNC.

Anyone know of someplace cheaper and closer? :D "

I'm in! At this point I'm bringing either my little sister if she's in the country or my older brother- this will be his first time anywhere close (he usually sits on the lawn).
