I'm planning on being there (with the usual crew), provided we can get tickets. It'll be strange to wait in line at somewhere other than the Giant Eagle...

We are in section 18....looking for a pre-party too!! We live out in Wheeling, WV but are familar with Pittsburgh. For the atmosphere you will want to stay at the Sheraton in Station Square as it has a bunch of good bars right there and I am sure there will be some type of pre party....will cost you though...at least 165.00 per night online. If not the Radison which is a short walk. The rest are all reachable by cab and it's possible to get something around $100 per night.

As of today, I'm planning on it! (Assuming the ticket gods come through!)

Never been to PNC park - so what's the scoop on the tailgating situation?

Can we? Where? Hint's? Suggestions? Warnings? :o

Thanks for the help!

(Being at PNC, I guess this is appropriate!: :pirate: )

I think tickets.com lists it at 6 pm. Going to try for tickets tomorrow, so we'll see what they say. That would be cool to gather at the same lot! I don't have a preference since I've never been there. I'll leave it up to the local experts to select since they are "in the know".

Stay at the Spring Hill Suites North Shore by Mariott it's the right across the street from the left field gate. It's opening later this month.

The Marriott will be open later this month but per their online site they don't have any rooms from the 25th-27th. We went ahead with the Marriott City Center.....109.00 per night....We are going to party extra hard to get our moneys worth that weekend!!

See you there....

Jeff called and told me he had both sets of our tickets.

I have no idea what we're doing, our friend Amy mentioned taking us to the Church Brewery on Saturday night.
