Hello to everyone from PIT. If you watch channel 4 a lot you may know who I am. I mention Jimmy several times on my weathercasts this morning. Anyhow here is a forecast for tomorrow's concert:
Partly sunny, very warm and humid with a high of 90 and a heat index of 95. There will be an isolated t-storm or two during the late afternoon, but we may very well stay dry. Keep your FINS crossed. If I see any changes I will update tonight. Otherwise look me up at the show. Front row field!!!
WTAE Rocks! If I remember correctly, Jake Ploeger worked down here at WTOV before going to Pittsburgh. Joe DeNardo went to my high school in Wheeling.
For you Pittsburgh guys, will the Fort Duquesne Bridge be open tomorrow or it is easier just to go across the West End Bridge and come up that way? We're in the VIP Lots.
Enjoy all, and welcome to the board Mr. Meteorlogist.
WoooooHoooo!!!

IT'S TIME...I'm outta here to go make noise but not quietly...not today. Hope to meet some of you excited people there who's names have appeared on BN. You've all helped me get excited. I was when I got my ticket because this is a first for me...a virgin but after todays concert I'll be no more. I think I was in shoch about getting a ticket that it didn't sink in until I started to read all that you fun people posted...THANKS
Buffett was great. And it was so nice to meet some BNer's. But PNC was not ready for us. I don't think we will ever go back there. Security was rude. The wait to get in was unexcusable. We were not treated with any respect. Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
Twenty four hours , maybe sixty good years, its not that long a stay.
Ah, another year, another Buffett show. Twelve shows and counting....
I'll have to say that although I'd go anywhere to see Jimmy, I hope he does not go back to PNC. Star Lake is by far the better venue, for the concert as well as for tailgating.
Heard on the radio this morning that if the 2,000 or so of us that waited in the mob to get into the Park would have walked 200 yards to the left we could have walked right in with no wait......but hey, if that's the worst thing that happened.....
Hope everyone had a grand time...for those of you heading to other shows this year - I'm jealous!
What a great show I had a blast tailgating and met some great people. PNC park wasn't that bad, the only thing I didn't like was waiting in the lines. But other than that the sound was great, and the band sounded excellent. I'm kind of sad now I have to wait until next year to go to another concert This was the only concert I can go to this year
I Wanna go back down and get high by the sea there...
We were back home in Ohio around 1:00 pm today. I just wanted to say that we had a BLAST! It was so awesome to meet Fanvan and his crew. Thank you so much for the hospitality. You guys are such a great bunch!
I thought the concert was one of the best I'd been to in a long time. We had no trouble getting in or out of PNC. We thought the security was very lax. They didn't check or ask about anything. Our seats were phenominal! 5 Rows from the stage cannot be beat! Although it was unbelieveably hot, we still had a great time. It was great to meet so many other BNers. We just come from everywhere. Buffalo, Ohio, North Carolina, New Jersey, Texas! Thanks for adding to our Buffett Memories. Hope to meet up again at another concert in the future!
Four Play and Mrs., you two must have a blast everywhere you go. Very nice to meet you both.
Growing older is mandatory, Growing up is optional!

Are you the big dude who was in front of my wife and I in that mob trying to get in? He was saying the same words that PNC was not ready
did you ask a blonde girl to hold an empty beer bottle for a second??
you are right, it was unexcusable that so many people were funneled into an entrance with five or six gates and only one was opened just so they could make you drop your empty water bottles or beer cans. Yes, there were other entrances but we went to the one that our tickets said to go to. That was our first time at PNC so we didn't know that there were so many other gates to get in. Poor comunication to the mass of people. I also think the early start is to blame for the mass entrance, the shows don't usually start till 7 or 8 and people were tailgating and all of a sudden realized :yikes: it's time to head over, thus the mass of sweaty hot humanity trying to funnel into a venue that most prob'ly have never been to before so we didn't know the best way's to get in

No that was not us in front of you. But we agree. We even called inside the stadium while waiting and they did not tell us about other gates. They were rude to us also.

that is a shame once we got in it was great but that line, or crowd, or mass, or whatever you want to call was brutal, they should have made announcements that other gates were moving more quickly. The view was awesome but getting in suuccked
