Here's the seating chart for Buffett if anyone needs it - I think Steele1161 found it first.

Hey, that sounds like FUN!!! Mind if I join you? Come to think of it, maybe we could get a whole flotilla of BNers!
Who's in?

That would be a blast!
1. Would the City of Pittsburgh (or other relevant officials) allow this? Don't want to miss the concert because we're in the clink for a floating flotilla violation.
2. We have a 2-3 person rubber dinghy/raft, but I doubt it would withstand much in the way of wakes from other boats. What kind of vessel is needed for this excursion?

I still don't have my tix yet. I called tickets.com, the guy there told me that the tickets usually arrive within 4 weeks. He also said that if they don't arrive within 48 hrs of the show, to call back and I could pick up a new set at will call. I JUST WANT MY TICKETS! Should I be worried?

When I checked on mine, they were able to give me the date the tickets were mailed. I was then told to allow 7-10 days and received them within that time period. I'd call them again and ask for the date they were mailed. Phins crossed for ya!

After talking to some friends with knowledge of the Pittsburgh waterways, the raft / tube ride might not be such a good idea. The ride from Station Square to the point would probably be ok, but then PNC Park is upstream from there. We'd have to cross the Allegheny in a hurry, and apparently there's barge traffic to contend with. So I'm thinking the Gateway Clipper is the way to go. The riverboats look awesome and it's only $4 1way.

the F-PLAY SUMMER TOUR

One concert isn't exactly a summer tour. Sounds to me like you you need to get out more
Seriously - with the venue being on the water, the city lights as the backdrop and a boat ride to the concert, this is going to be awesome. You sure you don't want to go?

I have access to a 18 foot pontoon boat if you guys want to sail that along the river....
So what are the plans? I know I have a hotel room (although I don't remember where) that's within walking distance.
And Kevy, you were fine in Vegas- You were trashed and still managed to behave better than I did sober (but that was mostly Mal's fault!)!!
