i ruined my favorite pair
but, i replaced them with three new pairs.
i have the very cute, casual pair. black/white w/ hula girls
then there's the semi-casual, black w/ rivets
then there is the formal, thick sole, wide straps
ranging in price from 1.98 to 6.7-someting
im set for now until the next time i go to walmart
Thanks Pop for introducing me to the music, you will always be my favorite Jimmy!!
My old ones were pretty beat. So while in St. Pete last week my girlie was nice enough to purchase a pair of Reef's for me just like my old ones. The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. $23. Simple, all black.

Question: "And now Kenny Chesney has recorded a beach album." Jimmy's Answer: "It's flattering. Some people say I should be p*** off about it but I'm really not. It's the highest form of flattery, and I'm fine with it."

I just made a pair of wedding flip flops. I got the white suede flip flops at Kohls. They have a crystal flower in the middle. I crocheted with two kinds of yarn. One white fluffy and one long shaggy white irridescent one. they turned out really cute. The bride's mother in law had me make them for her reception because she is sure the bride will want out of her heels by then...

We LOVE RonJons!!!
Especially their new store in Orlando
That be the RonJons...
I'm partial to the store in Cocoa Beach, but I spent an entire Saturday going from shoestore to shoestore until my bridesmaid, Lizz, said "Wanna go look at flips at RonJons?
So we went.
$13, clear vinyl, brand is "...lost", they've got an inkling of a heel... And they are super comfy!
I LOVE flip-flops!!!! They are the best shoes ever....sooo comfy! I must own about 30 pair or so; all kinds of colors and designs! The Teva Mush are some of the most comfy ones....
I agree, flip-flops are the greatest. I am a little tired though of glass and things going into my foot, but oh well. Hey, where is the Ron JOn's in ORlando, I am going to be there in about a month?

Time to blow out another flip-flop
It's off International Drive at the "mall" Festival Bay. (Over by Belz outlets, Near Universal).

I, too, have a billion pair of . . .we call 'em " slaps " . . .mostly the old cheapie colored plastic ones . .
since I live by the beach, everyone depends on me having slaps for any/all occasions. Besides, all my girly-friends still feel a need to be color coordinated with their choice of shoes/swim suit.
here's a neat way to store 58 pairs of slaps - just get an old shutter - mine is re-a-ally old fold out number , about 3 ft high . . - the slaps fit right in the slat thingys . . . .looks really cool . . .in a beach house kinda way . . .
works for me . . .
. . " and I finally disappear . . . . BUT NOT YET ! ! "
The trick is: put the thingie between your BIG toe and the next toe, not the little 'pinkie' toe and the next one.
I just bought another pair....must have a pair to match each summer and spring outfit!!
Do not resent growing old. Many are denied the privilege.

not those thong flip flops...those are the devil...that annoying sound drives me nuts (if I lived on the beach, it would probably be different)
