In addition to Great Woods and Mohegan Sun, they've added:

1 show at Fleet Center
2 shows at Fenway
1 show at Gillette
and a club gig at North Key West in Bridgewater.

THAT should hold us NE phans!!!

Has it occurred to anyone that he'll play the Sun because they'll pay him LOTS of money to do it?

Any show he plays there would be for the CASINO's benefit because the casino will easily make at least double whatever they have to pay JB to play there. Heck if they give him the $1M that is reportedly his standard fee that is only 5,000 people at $200/ticket. That leaves the profit from tickets sales from the other 5,000-6,000 people that the place can purportedly hold (another $1M?), PLUS the gambling revenue from an additional 10,000 drunk people ($2M?), PLUS the revenue from all of the hotel rooms that would be booked($100K?). In other words, from my rough calculation, the CASINO could make over $3M in one night just by having JB perform.

It also might be that it isn't JB who'll play but maybe PM, who has played there in the past I believe.

Yes he did and it was a free show at the Wolf Den Lounge.

It would be great if Jimmy came back to GW, but wouldn't it make more sense for him to play The Meadows in Hartford if he's going to Connecticut? Why play an indoor show in the Summer when there's basically a GW style venue right in the area?

I think the Meadows is an awful facility. I am sure if he plays Mohegan Sun it is for the money. I also think he's looking for new venues to keep himself energized. Playing the same places year after year becomes boring.

Every show he does is for the money. Otherwise, they'd be free.

Good point. I guess I should've state the exorbitant amount he would be paid.

Dunno about that - the venue only seats 10,000. Compared to an ampitheater and especially the stadium venues he's doing this year, I doubt the take at the door will be enough to warrant a higher payday.

Just a thought...I really have no idea how such things work.
