has anyone even gone to the great woods (tweeter center) box office to get tickets? would i have better luck on ticketmaster?

Not true, TMHB! I had GREAT luck at the venue a few years ago!

It's a lottery system ... but they usually draw the starting number early enough that I can book it back home if I don't get a good one and fire up the computer and phone lines.

Ticket prices are 86 reserved and 36 for that tiny bit of lawn left at Great Woods. You gotta figure with the TM service charge it will be over a 100 bucks for reserve seats. That $150 at Mohegan doesn't sound to bad now.

$100 for the best tailgating in the country (let the debate continue) is worth every penny.

Mohegan is for geriatric gamblers (not that there's anything wrong with that), not Buffett concerts.

Hoping and praying that I don't get shut out...!! I'll be heading to work to use their internet and phones... God I hate going to work on a Saturday when I don't have too!!! I'm shooting for 1 ticket for both days... so keep your fins crossed that I get in

The ONE year I book a vacation for June thinking it is safe... and LOOK WHAT HAPPENS!!!

Damn, going to miss all the fun at Great Woods, good luck to everyone trying to get tickets. Now I have to hope and pray the Mohegan rumors are true for my annual Buffett fix.
