I am meeting people coming from Rhode Island and Boston. We all want to park together, where is a good place to meet near Great Woods before the show then caravan into the show? Thanks in advance for the help.

one of the hotel parking lots probably red roof inn or something that is easy to find

mexcooker12, most folks meet about a mile passed the Tweeter center at McDonalds. It has a big lot and everyone can find it. Once off the exit dive passed the venue, go maybe 1-1.5 miles and it is on your left. Much easier to meet there than anywhere else.

yeah thats a good call i didnt even think of that, is there a time that the buffettnewsers are all showing up? last night we were all out at the bar and one of my friends was messing with me after i had a few drinks and kept telling me we need to be in the parking lot set up by 6:30 AM so we can get prime parking, luckily he was just messing around but i plan on getting there at about 9:00-9:30

I am so ready for this concert!! Flight has been booked, sleeping (or not) arrangements have been made, and I even have a date for the tailgate!

I'll see what I can do.. I was actually planning on going to Maine on Tuesday but let me find out if it's a definite.. (lots of last minute shopping and places to go before I leave). I'm assuming you're flying in and out of Boston?

6:30 would be a bit early....2 years ago they opened the gates at 10am (I think) and we were about the 20th car in line.....the lot seemed to be slowly filling up until about 11:30-12:00, then it exploded.....This year my lame ass group of friends want to get there around noon....very late, but since they are driving, I guess I have to live with it....

Is anyone else getting ancy? Now with the weather finally turning nice here in New England all I can think about is the Buffett Show. June 20th cant come soon enough. I actually like the idea of a June show instead of Labor Day Weekend. What better way to kick off the summer?

I"m right there with ya! I'm getting wicked ansy! Only 15 days till Mohegan. That means only 28 days till GW (as long as I did the math correctly!) I've already got all my stuff for jello shots and punch (minus the vodka... I"ll pick that up today). I need to get everything this week or next because I"ll be In Florida right before going to Mohegan. Oh, I'm excited! This summer is going to be one heck of a good time!

I got another Great Woods question. I am planning on parking my car in a pay lot past Great Woods. In the past I have parked on peoples lawns and I have noticed that there is a mini golf course just past great woods that does this too. I am doing this because I take backroads to Great Woods and they usually route the traffic the opposite way that I want to go and I am just going to meet up with people already in the lot. My question is if I get to the stadium around 1 or 2 do you think those private lots will be available or do you think that they will not be open then.

I don't wanna drive....I really don't. I'm now considering having a limo service that my company uses drive the 6 of us in. Anyone else ever do this? I figure I'm just gonna be meeting up with y'all anyhow - probably not spending any time at my own car. Thoughts?

ehh we were thinking limo too but you really dont wanna be with the limo people, alot of untrue parrotheads from what i have noticed

Not planning on HANGING with limo people, lol. Just planning on getting a ride in, probably dropped off, then ride home.
