I don't eat much at shows either. If a few people want to bring food I would be more than happy to pay them a few bucks.
But, if someone brings a grill I can bring stuff to grill.
I also have 2 extra Pavilion tickets together for Monday section 12 for face value if anyone is interested.
BoR - long time no speak, no see! I just sent you a PM - but after Toronto yesterday, I really missed our 2003 GW bash... and I think we're going to head up..
Anyway, we have a 40' RV along with a BIG generator... and a pro sound system we can use for outside the rv. Basically, I can bring chairs, shade, power, ice, blender and music...
We're scouting for tickets now... but expect to be there.
Did you say RV?
Now things are coming together

Not just any RV - a 40' ROCK STAR of an RV. Only downside is no bathroom since it's technically our home on the road. BUT - power, blender, ice, music, shade....
I might even have to bust the BALD PARROT bar out of retirement and print out some buffett virgin scavenger hunts for the newbies...
Oh it feels good to be back

So if people are meeting ahead of time and we manage to get the two RVs parked near/next to each other... we'll have made our dreams come true.... or at least laid the foundation for one hell of a party!

Is everyone invited? Seems I've lost two that were coming with us, so there's just me, the bf, my cousin and her friend. Four is waaaaay too small of a number for this party, me thinks!
Does ANYONE have a grill they can bring? We just have a little camping stove

Maybe I should look into buying a cheapie this week?

I have a hibachi that I will be bringing. The thing is pretty small but it gets the job done.
Jello shots and chicken wings will be made on Sunday night. We have a table that can be used for beer games.
I'm guessing the meeting place is still the plaza past Great Woods. Do we have a definite time?

Provided I've got confirmation of a grill coming (or I pick one up myself) I'll bring some burgers, sausages, hot dogs and buns. Don't know how many chairs I have, but I'll see what I can do. Looks like I may be able to get there for the initial meetup at this point!
Ummm could someone explain to me WHERE that will be? Not too familiar with the area around there. Directions, please?

Everyone is invited, looks like the party will be back in the RV section this year
no bathroon = no big deal, they don't call it great woods for nothing.
I may leave my bar at home for the Monday show and let Santa bring his, logistically speaking getting my bar from my truck over to the RV section would be tough but not as bad as getting it back to my truck at the end of the day
Not to mention his bar is far better than mine.
I will still bring beach sand (if I can find some) .
If we can all agree on a time to meet outside GW (9-9:30??) we should be able to get Bixx and Santa to park close together. Anyone showing up later should try to park in the lot to the right , that is the closest to the RV section.

so, from what you're saying there won't be a bn'er group in the regular parking lot?!?!?! i'm just wondering because we have a lighthouse scene all ready to set up and a bimini ring toss game for jello shots... not to mention the grill, easy up, lights, chairs, food etc etc...
More people is more better!

Okay - we'll shoot to meet up around 0900 - 0930. We'll be easy to spot. I'll load and bring the following:
- RV
- Awning/Shades
- a few chairs
- The Bald Parrot Bar
- Buffett Virgin Scavenger Hunts
- Music Amplifier/Buffett Mix on iPod/Laptop
- BLENDER
- alcohol lying around for party
- some ice, probably not enough
** Also, I'll have/bring a portable air compressor for blow up palm trees, parrots, etc.
We'll also have a cooler, and obviously we'll have a fridge on board. I'll also have a small grill, but I think it's not very good, so if someone else has a grill... all the better.
After Toronto and no tail-gating (well, extremely limited) I'm looking forward to having fun. I hope Monday feels more like FRIDAY!

Santa and Bixx's RV's are just 2 more places to hang our and/or visit. They may be a BN group in the regular parking lot Monday I am only speaking for myself when I say I will be with Santa and Bixx in the RV lot. We seemed to be unorganized as to who was brining what on Monday, having the RV makes things so much easier to plan. At the RV all you have to worry about bringing is food and booze. If they can park RV's next to each other all the better. If there is a BN group in teh regular lot I/we will find you.
If you park in the regular lot on the right it is a very short walk (less than 5 min) to the RV section.

Well said! We always used to bring the pickup trucks and party in the main lot - but with the keets and the RV... we're obligated to the big section.
As we learned from experience... SHORT walk there... LONG, WOBBLY walk back

Does anyone have a name, address or weblink for the meeting location? I want to make sure I don't get lost!

pssst....Buffett Schilling sent me directions. I'm sure she'd do the same....you ARE Santa, after all! (and since some of us are leaners on the naughty/nice list, you can't be too careful!)
