Any Law & Order viewers here? Which of the four series do you prefer?

I would have to go with SVU. To me it’s a marriage between the original and Homicide: Life on the Street, as it mixes the styles of both shows and took a character from each. It’s the most unique and intense out of the four IMO, although all are quite entertaining.

I like SVU...mmmmmm. detective stabler. yummmmy!

SVU is by far the best... the subject matter of the show makes it so much more compelling than the others... although the original L&O is very good. Mariska Hargitay is AWESOME!!!

I agree entirely! Don't especially like Criminal Intent-Donofrio just annoys me, and his partner seems to serve almost no purpose.

I totally think so too! I can never figure out what his partner is supposed to be doing...other than giving Donofrio someone to talk to!

i like the original best... as far as Donofrio.. he can't hack the grind of doing it.. next year he'll do 10 episodes and chris noth will do 10.... the year after noth takes over totally..

I have to go with SVU, especially Richard Belzer and Ice-T. I think they work really well together.

I used to like the original best but since Chris Noth left it's gone steadily downhill. Benjamin Bratt wasn't very good but he's an Academy Award winner compared to that waste Jesse Martin, he's just awful. And a dead Jerry Orbach is better than Dennis Farina. NBC should put the show out of its misery and cancel it at the end of this season.

We agree on things waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much!!!

I like SVU the best. I never really watched after they moved it opposite NYPD BLUE. I was thinking about watching again but "the Shield" premieres on FX tuesday at 10:00pm.

Does anybody remember the show Homicide (Life On the Streets), now that was a great show. They did a few episodes with Homicide and Law and Order together.
