Been listening to them for many years and have seen them several times. Good stuff. I'm going to see Flogging on Friday night at the House of Blues Anaheim. Can't wait.

I love Flogging Molly, they can successfully take traditional Irish music and songwriting and add "punk" to it and create really good music, where each song has its own unique sound.

The dropkick murphys have some decent stuff but it's a bit to far removed from traditional music for me, and all the songs pretty much sound alike ( to my ears anyway) but i love the bagpipes

if you like floggin molly then you NEED to listin to the Pogues ( Shane MacGowen) era pogues, their new stuff is horrible... pick up "Rum Sodomy & the lash", "if i should fall from the grace of god" or a hits cd... classic music

Being from Boston the Dropkick Murphys are force feed down our throats at Red Sox games. I can't say I am a fan.

Tessie is on the MVP Baseball 05 soundtrack, not a bad song but it gets old really fast

been listening to both for several years now.. Flogging Molly puts on a good show, but I liked them better before they became so mainstream. (opening for fake punk like Sum 41)...

I have everything by both bands. My youngest song is really into them too. Hopefully they will both perform at Warped this year so he can see them.

I've seen Flogging Molly twice. Once they opened for Bosstones in Orlando and then recently headlining in Manhattan. They were just here last Friday in KC but I couldn't make it. They're great though.

I'm 44, and have taken my son Jake (and posse) to the WARPED TOUR the last couple years. Seen both, and enjoyed them. Dropkick Murphy and Flogging Molly were much better than the majority of bands on the tour.
