Here's something ELSE the liberals can celebrate-
A condemned murderer on Texas' death row who was scheduled to assume room temperature later this afternoon was given a reprieve five hours prior to his scheduled appointment with "Sparky". Apparently ANOTHER unelected, unaccountable judge decided the jury instructions were incorrect after 15 years.

BUT GOD DAMN IT, LET'S KILL TERRY SCHIAVO, AND BY GOD, LET'S DO IT NOW! After all, it's what her prince of a "husband" wants. :x

Are you saying it is ok, to intentionally starving and dehydrating an innocent person to death because they have brain damage?

People have claimed that Terri did not feel anything.... here is evidence that Terri does feel pain... If Terri can feel pain... then what else can she feel?

Perhaps some will say it does not matter.....starve her and dehydrate her because she does not need to live or would want to live, like that because they feel or think they would not want to live like that.....
I still question the motives of the husband waiting more than 8 years to suddenly come forward and recall a one time conversation....
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may...

Hun if you're going to report something please get it right. Sparkey hasn't been used in years. All executions in Texas are carried out by lethal injection.

Here's something I posted about a week ago
Lightning Bolt wrote:So they've removed the feeding tube.

We have to assume, by her husband's actions and with the agreement of numerous court's judgements, that this is the CORRECT course of action.
We, as obtrusive bystanders, really have NO RIGHT to stand in their way.
This happens to others EVERY DAY, with no documentation or news coverage, and this is a personal freedom that has been protected.

Not saying it is FAIR (when has life ever been always fair?). It is a sad, sad, melancholy moment that Mrs. Schiavo moves toward. It should have been allowed much sooner.

But, it is a victory for each American's right to personal freedom, and this is the cornerstone of what we pride about being citizens of America.

This is a right that you will not celebrate.
I don't know about that Texas case, so I won't comment,
but I certainly have read a lot of things about this one, and as we get closer to this poor woman's passing, I feel just as strongly about the Schiavo's rights to THEIR choice.
It's not for us to approve or disapprove.
You and I DO NOT get a say in this...

Ya know what-you're right. And I think I knew that. I just like using the term "Sparky," especially aroung my family, who all have hissy fits whenever I say that word. If I come off as a nut case sometimes, I THANK GOD I have relatives up the ying-yang I can blame it on.

At least you'd get to go to Jerry Jeff Walker's birthday bash every year. More often than not a couple guys named "Jimmy" and "Charlie" show up for that.
Texas also has no state income tax :)

Well I'd like to know who this inmate is and where you got your information. Being that I live in Texas and I haven't heard a thing about it and TRUST ME we do hear about executions and stays in the news here. Also your statement that the judge was unelected. Well how do you know that?? Since I can't find out anything on this inmate I can't determine what court he was convicted in. If he was convicted in district court his judge was most certainly elected.
