Help with incomunicado drink

Post by phenwayparrothead »

Spent a day down in margaritaville in Orlando ordering a drink called incomunicado, I remember it involved tequilla, gin, and rum, but beleive it or not I completely forget what else was in it. So if anyone knows how to make these incomunicado's it would be greatly appreciated if you left the ingredients list

I just looked through a borrowed drink menu from CIP. Unfortunately, I don't see an Incommunicado listed.

From the NO menu site:
http://www.margaritaville.com/neworleans/drinkmenu.htm

Incommunicado® $6.00
You’ll be “takin’ the long way home” after a few of these. Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Triple Sec, sour mix, pineapple juice and cranberry juice with a splash of Grenadine and a
Bacardi 151 Rum float.

Unfortunately, this drink put me incommunicado, and caused me to qutite embarrasingly be cut off at margaritaville. Fortunately it wasn't due to bad behavior, but instead due to the sheer number of drinks in the short period of time. I was waiting for someone at the Lone Palm, and had apparently had 8 incommunicado's in 45 minutes when the waitress told me her manager said not to serve me any more because of it. But I do remember it being quite a tasty drink. Thank you for the help.

Pretty much a renamed Greatful Dead (a slight variation of a Long Island). It is quite a tasty drink, though I've never had it from Margaritaville.

The wife and I are planning a trip to Orlando and findint the closest hotel to Margaritaville, where we plan on hanging out all day and drinking as many different drinks as we can...then either walk or get a cab back to the hotel :pirate:

For future reference, it helps to flirt with the server and say "I'm with the band." 8)

Not that I've ever done anything like that, especially not at the CIP in Asheville. :pirate:

Try one of the hotels at Universal---all you have to do is get to the boats---they will take you back to your hotel
