VIP PASSES
How does someone get a VIP Pass to a concert, do you have to know someone of importance?
"Oh but yesterdays are over my shoulder, So I can't look back for too long"
or be somone of importance...or have your wife sweattalk the guy in clevleand like last year to let you in to which he responds...'go ahead, if anyone asks, just tell them you were escorted it'...open bar before the show once in the venue was pretty sweet...nobody said a word to us and we had no credentials

well there is always more to any story...but basically thats all there was too it...it was the first time we'd ever been to a show at that venue and we were looking for the cornoa tent...we couldn't find it and we asked the guy working the vip area if he knew, he said no, we kept talking as he looked through his paperwork identifing which credintails got people where, then he basically let my wife and I through...granted this was about 7:30 for a 8:00 (8:20) start, so we didn't get to take full advantage, but a few free beers and cocktails later we headed to our seats, granted we had lawn seats, but we figured since we were so close to the good seats we'd walk with the other VIPs and just find a spot...it worked for the first half of the show until nature called and we had to leave and couldn't get back....moral of the story is it never hurts to ask or bullsh!t with a 17 year old kid who really could care less what happens...I'm sure a $20 bill would have got me past as well, but I wasn't thinking clearly enough and it was getting close to show time...Ilph wrote:Now THIS is a story I would like to hear more about....jiggs(2) wrote:or be somone of importance...or have your wife sweattalk the guy in clevleand like last year to let you in to which he responds...'go ahead, if anyone asks, just tell them you were escorted it'...open bar before the show once in the venue was pretty sweet...nobody said a word to us and we had no credentials

That is awesome. I remember one year at a George Strait music festival concert where I conned my way backstage with my friends 4 times to meet Sara Evans, Lonestar, Lee Ann Womack, Alan Jackson. And then talked my way into the front row for the last half hour of Strait's show. But your story might even top that one!jiggs(2) wrote:well there is always more to any story...but basically thats all there was too it...it was the first time we'd ever been to a show at that venue and we were looking for the cornoa tent...we couldn't find it and we asked the guy working the vip area if he knew, he said no, we kept talking as he looked through his paperwork identifing which credintails got people where, then he basically let my wife and I through...granted this was about 7:30 for a 8:00 (8:20) start, so we didn't get to take full advantage, but a few free beers and cocktails later we headed to our seats, granted we had lawn seats, but we figured since we were so close to the good seats we'd walk with the other VIPs and just find a spot...it worked for the first half of the show until nature called and we had to leave and couldn't get back....moral of the story is it never hurts to ask or bullsh!t with a 17 year old kid who really could care less what happens...I'm sure a $20 bill would have got me past as well, but I wasn't thinking clearly enough and it was getting close to show time...Ilph wrote:Now THIS is a story I would like to hear more about....jiggs(2) wrote:or be somone of importance...or have your wife sweattalk the guy in clevleand like last year to let you in to which he responds...'go ahead, if anyone asks, just tell them you were escorted it'...open bar before the show once in the venue was pretty sweet...nobody said a word to us and we had no credentials

Can I be your friend??????

The best part is after you have had them a few times and made a good impression with certain people.....you can get back every time.

Question: "And now Kenny Chesney has recorded a beach album." Jimmy's Answer: "It's flattering. Some people say I should be p*** off about it but I'm really not. It's the highest form of flattery, and I'm fine with it."
