I had a wisdom tooth taken out today. Ow. I just want to share my pain with everyone else. I think I'll go back to sleep now. Ah codine....

just 1????

I had all 4 cut out at once years back.
And Pooh had all 4 plus the 4 molars<sp?> for a total of 8 pulled at once.

But we do feel your pain (((ILPH)))

I had all four at once, too.

Looked like a black and blue chipmunk. But that's pretty much all the dental work I've ever had done. I'm 45, and have 3 fillings.

I couldn't open my mouth for the dentist for YEARS after... and he wasn't even the one who did it to me...and he was a friend!

Ditto... my orthodontist is stalling the decision as long as possible and I really don't want them taken out

Thanks for the sympathy guys and gals. I only had one taken out because I don't have dental insurance. So it was a IRS refund well spent

Alright back to my ice packs and jello.

I'm 33 and still have all four of mine.
I keep putting it off although biting the inside of my mouth is getting old.

All mine are in, and they all fit. I had to have one pulled because it never formed the proper enamel. I came out in about 20 pieces.

I like to position the gauze just so..so that I can trickle a bit (or lot) of brandy down the side without too much blood taste....never have taken pain killers after a pull...you may want to consider jello shots??

My tooth was growing backwards into the bone and the root was shaped like a fish hook, so it had to come out in a whole bunch of pieces too. The doctor made it sound like such fun when he was describing it today.
