So How'd You Do For Nissan?

Post by SomeGuyNamedDan »

It was a slightly dissappinting year for us. Had a network of about 6 people trying to get 6 tickets (a relatively low number, but heh it's on a school night this year and only the "locals" can go). This same network is usually able to procure anywhere from 8 to 12 tickets every year. I guess our luck was due to run out sometime.

This year, 4.

So unfortunately, an even further-reduced group is going. My wife and I are in, which I should be happy about. But it's just not going to be the same this year. I'm looking more forward to Philly on 8/27, where we'll have a group of 10. . .the way it should be.

BTW-Ticketscalpers, already had lawn "seats" up on ebay for $300 a pair, BEFORE they went on sale. Bastards.

A total of 7 computers and 4 phones...not one ticket. There had to be at least 150 listings already on ebay, some selling up to 30 at a time. Usually we get more than enough and have to get rid of them here. The hunt begins...

I was the twelfth person in line at a TM location near Baltimore.
I got four lawn tix, but the person behind me got shut out.

I'm grateful, but discouraged about how hard it is becoming.

Don't know what I do different, but I get tickets through ticket master every year w/o any issues. Got 4 for the pavilion this year. Oviously they aren't going to be available at 10:30am, but if your online when they go onsale you usually get them IMO.

My brother and I both got shut out. :(

Just a reminder, too. Please put ANY tickets for sale in the ticket exchange. No tickets for sale ad in any of the discussion forums.

This was me at 10:12 a.m. yesterday, after the Nissan tickets were all gone:

Bummer. I would have offered you the extras I had, but since somebody deleted my post in this thread (in which I was trying to help out the regulars who got shut out), I guess I'll sell them to the one-posters and scalpers in the Ticket Exchange instead.

Hi everyone. New to this forum. I don't know how, but I got lucky this year after being shut out last year for Nissan. Got 6 pavilion seats, Section 303 (middle), Row B. Saw him earlier this year too, in Tampa. Can't wait for June 15th!

I figured you'd have something to say. This isn't something I did just for for you, Rednekk. It's been part of the board "do's and don'ts" for some time now. Believe me, plenty of other ads have been deleted from other conversations as well.

I appreciate your offer, though. Unfortunately, these old bones just can't "do" the lawn anymore. And I'm pretty sure most of the regulars are aware to look on the Ticket Exchange for tickets. Just in case, here is a link:

Thank goodness for RM; maybe we'll still go up and do the tailgate, who knows??? :D

We had a network of 3 people trying to get tickets. Two on DSL lines and one on the phone. The one on the phone got through just as the guy at the ticketmaster office said his computer crashed and needed to reboot. So, he didn't get his. One of us on the DSL line got all the way to purchasing them with his credit card when he took to much time and lost his seats. Me, I got four in the lawn. So, at least some of us are going. It makes me sick that people will go and get tickets just to sell them on ebay. Especially if they have friends that actually want to go and couldn't get tickets.

Not too bad... (Believe it or not, I've actually done better the past two years where I scored 2nd row each year. 6th row still ain't too shabby!)

I got to the TicketB*stards on Thursday morning at 9:15a.m!

Now the down side... I CAN'T GO!

I'd already scheduled a family vacation for this week a month before the Nissan date was even close to being announced...

So I'm probably just going to try to find someone who wants to swap tickets with me to a concert I CAN attend...

I got 2 in 304 row A. Had to start right at 10:00 and order went through at 10:04 via Cable Modem. I tried again after my transaction was complete and it was sold out at about 10:15.
Last year my wife and I just showed up and got tickets in the grass for face value about 2 hours before the show. There are always extra tickets before a show and not just from scalpers who have not idea who JB is! I have only missed one show that I tried to get into about 10 years ago when I couldn't afford $50 tickets in Dallas! Keep tryin' - BCD
