We officially give up tikitatas!

Sods and rinds to cover your flake,
Cake and tea for supper
Cod fish in the spring of the year,
Fried in maggoty butter

I don't want your maggoty fish
They're no good for winter
Well I can buy as good as that,
Way down in Bonavista!

She jumped aboard the brown line,
I accidentally caught her eye
She told me she was born a Libra,
I told her I was Gemini
She made suggestive conversation,
then she lightly brushed my hand
Overcome by her temptations,
we jumped off down by the strand
And in the English night, I realize it again...

and PHbeerman will razz us about being Canadian. In any thread he can work it in. Sometimes he makes up a thread to razz us.

And I have no idea on the current lyric.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.

Mayday, Mayday we are being over-ran by Canuckians. But don't worry the NHL is back up and running. Soon they will all be back in front of their TVs waiting for national Hockey night.

Ha! Sorry for the unexpected invasion!

To answer a couple of ?'s:

Yes, I was at the concert in Toronto. It was my first JB concert. It definately fell into the "Top 5 List" of things I've done in my lifetime! :D

I got into Jimmy's music when I worked on boats for 8 years up on Manitoulin Island, ON. (Better get out your atlas for that one!!! - But here's a little piece of trivia: It's the largest Fresh Water Island in the world!!! )

I lived in Fort Lauderdale for awhile...that's when I got my taste of "the good life"...I've been a dreamer (and a bit of a drifter) ever since! :o

:D

I know where Manitoulin is . . . met a girl from there in Ottawa in '73. Anne Turner. Lake Superior! Drifting and dreaming is good . . . as long as you can keep body and soul together in the meantime!
