A 19 year old male was waiting in his cell for the guards to open the doors for dinner. When they opened all of the doors, this man, trying to be first in line for grub, ran and jumped off the second floor balcony trying to make it on to the staircase below. Needless to say, he missed. Splat. He died because he wanted to be first in line!!!!!!

Ours used to. Then they had some extra $$, not to mention the other jail was actually dropping pieces on the inmates. Most people are in for petty crimes (shoplifting a pair of shoes, possesion of pot, etc.). Once evry 5 -10 years we get a ****GASP**** Murderer. This guy was in for forgery. Forgery around here is usually forging a check for , say, $20. We don't have many high tech criminals in these here parts!Sidew13 wrote:Your local jail has 2 stories??ragtopW wrote:OK I did not read that it was a local jailshakerofsalt wrote:The guards and the other inmates saw it happen.
