any comcast folks with problems

Anybody else have comcast internet. Have you been having problems all day. I ran tons of scans, defrags, etc because I thought it was me. But it turns out the problem was pretty wide spread. But if forced me to do some maintenance that was needed.

YES! I was having problems earlier this evening... everything seems fine now.

My IE was not working but I was still getting emails last night and I started freaking out, thinking virus :o . I ended up just leaving and now all is fine. :D

Yep.. had some hiccups last night. :roll:

Just heard on the local news ( CO ) that Comcast states they're having outages all over the country. No timetable when all will be restored. And there will no credits to your bill unless it's been out for more than 24 hours. :roll:

Our offices were out all day yesterday. According to Comcast, they had a major outage, and lost static IPs for a ton of commercial accounts.

Yeah, I was out last night around 9pm and called in. They said they were out nation-wide and had no idea when it would be back up. Good to see its working now!

We had problems too. Sometimes it would go real slow, other times I couldnt get anything.

As a disgruntled Comcast employee, the official word from this mornings meeting was that a server had crashed.

The Queen put in an order to move the cable internet service from her apartment to our new place on April 30th.

She found out that DSL is available from the phone company at the new address, so she told Comcast not to move the service but to disconnect it on the 30th.

She arrived home tonight to find that they had already disconnected the service. :evil:

Internet has been restored. :D The tech that was here was NOT pleased at the hoops I was put through talking to the first person I talked to last night. Doing all sorts of IP reconfigs, etc... he totally messed up my modem and router. :evil: And I thought it was an accident that our call was disconnected after being on the call for 30 minutes. I think he noticed that he screwed up and saw that it was simply that my services were disconnected early. Honest mistake by whoever did that, yes. But GRRRR!!!! :evil:
