Who likes this. Not necessarily traditional Hawaiian music, or even the one or two very well known names. I like the groups that sound like island music or the groups that sound like a cross between island and reggae. Ex. might be Ten Feet.
I have a bunch from my old downloading days. Now I'm previewing some stuff to try and buy it. Not sure if it's easy to buy. Don't know how popular most of these groups are or if it's easy to get their full cd's. Will be having a luau style party for my sons' graduation.
You can tell it's spring now.

HG, I listen to pretty much everything. I like some oldschool metal in small doses, hip-hop, reggae...
some of the hawaiian combines a hip-hop/reggae/pop sound. Kind of pleasant.
What I find odd is that I now listen to country after truly hating it for all of my life. LTC is to blame for that I think. It helped me make the cross over.

IZ is very cool. I really like Dennis Pavao and Makaha Sons and a lot of the other falsetto stuff. Jawaiian the reggae/Hawaiian music is huge there. Some good artists are O-Shen, Ka'ala Boys and Natural Vibrations. 105 Kine radio is all is listen to when I'm there and you can listen to their streaming radio at http://hawaiian105.com/ They play a great mix.

Thanks for the link for the streaming. I'm going to start listening to this.

That's a cool term. Any other groups I'd love some recommendations.
