my main course depends on my mood - guess that's why I go to buffets mostly. But I ALWAYS get hot and sour soup

My favorite chinese food was always Kung Pao Chicken, but lately all we order is Happy Family: (little bit of everything) "in special brown sauce"

I like a shrimp egg roll, Szechuan chicken.
I like General Tso's chicken for takeout. If I'm at a "nice" Chinese place, and they have it, I ALWAYS get duck.
Yum-I love duck too!
Pot stickers

and my favorite entree is shrimp in lobster sauce

Ya know what's funny? I have never seen Sesame chicken at the chinese places I have gone to in Cali...and Stockton has TONS. They don't have it down here at Mom and Dad's either. :-? First place I had it was in Denver I think.

When I did eat chinese I would usually get:
lemon chicken
kung pao chicken
veggie or shrimp chow mein
fried shrimp
wok charred green beans
sticky rice
sizzling rice soup
deep fried asparagus (seasonal)

Didn't get all those at one time :o That's just what I choose from.

I have never heard of general Tso's chicken...what is it? :-?

You sure require a lot of extra attention with this food stuff!

Here, it's pieces of deep fried chicken, in a sweet/spicy sauce. Similar to sweet and sour, but spicy.

My usual is kung pao chicken

Sometimes empress chicken, or hunan chicken.

There is something around here called "house special beef", or "orange beef" in some places. But some "orange beef" is completely different. What we like is pieces of deep fried beef (or mystery meat if you will), with orange peels, in another spicy sweet sauce.

Or China Buffet(t) works, for lots of little tastes.
