Vegas is the closest, and that's about a 12 to 14 hour drive!!
Obviously you don't drive like my husband.  We do it in 11 :D

Last I timed it, I had two rugrats in the car and a wife who has to pee
every two hours on the dot!!
I just pulled over and pee'd along side the road twice.....total pee time was about 2 minutes! :pirate:

You make a great point, but now that the Wrigley shows are showing as a sell out if you try to buy tickets, wouldn't it be super if he added some shows in the Chicago area? I'm not holding my breath, but it is a nice thought.

Surely this will never happen, but it would be interesting to see how much demand there is. With 70,000 tickets already sold to Wrigley, how quickly would he still sell out one Tinley Park show? How about two Tinley shows?

It is a nice thought Phinsup!! Thanks for the hope!

I don't know about Tinley, but I guar - an - tee Alpine would be the same 10 minute sell out as always. I just don't have anything to back up that guarantee!  8) June or July would be nice - we have to wait until the ophicial end of summer for Wrigley. It could be 10 degrees! :o

I have no doubt that both venues would sell out...maybe not two Tinley shows, but one for sure...And Alpine is a given. I mean, as we all know people travel far and wide to see Jimmy, so it's not as if it's all local people who visit these venues. Last year in the hotel we stayed at for the Tinley show we saw vehicles from all over the states, and since they all had signs on them, or leis on the mirrors, or parrots in the windows, odds are that they were there for the show. At the concert itself the two rows behind us were a group from Colorado. Also, there seem to be so many people who see multiple shows per season, that selling out doesn't really seem to be an issue...of course I may be wrong, but we all know the power Jimmy has for drawing a crowd! I have a room reserved for the original rumored date at the Alpine lodge, and I am not cancelling it until the last minute. They sent me a confirmation letter, and it shows the concert rate, and since I reserved a couple other Sat. nights, I also got confirmation letters, and they show regular rates. Who knows...!
